Amanda Wyatt, Owner
Amanda graduated from the University of Illinois with an Engineering degree, spent 8 years in Corporate Marketing, then left to pursue a path of entrepreneurship, launching the Cream & Flutter brand in April of 2008. Amanda is inspired by passionate, talented people and loves seeing beautiful design come to life in three dimensions. When she is not working at Cream & Flutter, Amanda is designing and remodeling homes for clients in Western North Carolina as part of her second business, Willow James Construction. She spends much of her free time chasing after her two year old son, Rowan, and her spirited Goldendoodles, Fiona and Finnegan. Amanda credits her success in business to her razor sharp, handsome, and endlessly supportive husband, Bart, to her fabulous and fanciful sister, Trish, who inspired the brand, and to her impressive staff, who gets up every day and works hard to bring Cream & Flutter to life.
Whitney Henson, Regional Manager and Executive Pastry Chef
Whitney is a trained pastry chef who graduated from culinary school, with a Pastry Arts degree, in 2013. With a passion for the wedding industry and a small business atmosphere, Whitney joined the Cream & Flutter team shortly after graduating as a part-time baking and batters’ employee, in the Champaign IL location. She is now the acting General Manager for the Cashiers, NC storefront and also the Regional Manager for both Cream & Flutter locations. She creates and refines Cream & Flutter's recipes to ensure they are fresh and delicious, and most enjoys the creativity that comes with recipe testing and building wedding and specialty cakes. She tributes her ever-growing love for the pastry to her kind and patient husband, Kyle, who always encourages her to pursue her passions. When she is not baking for humans, Whitney loves baking treats for her dogs Cheyenne and Mia, collecting vintage Pyrex, crafting, and making obscure Harry Potter references.
Mandy Naron, Cashiers Kitchen Manager
Mandy is a native of Southern Louisiana. She is married with three boys and three furry daughters. She began in the professional pastry kitchen at Old Edwards Inn and Spa, where she was taught the fundamentals. She was the Pastry Chef for a local restaurant and has had her desserts published in WNC magazine. She brings a natural talent to Cream and Flutter Cashiers that was passed down from her grandmother Betty. In her free time she enjoys watching her boys play sports, the company of her dogs and her husband cooking dinner on his days off.
Sarah Bouton, Champaign Kitchen Manager
Sarah has always been passionate about food and what goes into it. She finds the beauty of food to come from the ability to create something satisfying not just for herself but especially for others. She attended Parkland College and graduated with an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts Management. She married her amazing husband, Nathan, last year and is am beyond thankful for how dedicated, passionate, and hardworking he is every day. When she is not at work, she is coaching Dance, spending time with her puppy and husband, or trying out new recipes.
