Amanda Wyatt, Owner
Amanda graduated from the University of Illinois with an Engineering degree, spent 8 years in Corporate Marketing, then left to pursue a path of entrepreneurship, launching the Cream & Flutter brand in April of 2008. Amanda is inspired by passionate, talented people and loves seeing beautiful design come to life in three dimensions. When she is not working at Cream & Flutter, Amanda is designing and remodeling homes for clients in Western North Carolina as part of her second business, Willow James Construction. She spends much of her free time chasing after her two year old son, Rowan, and her spirited Goldendoodles, Fiona and Finnegan. Amanda credits her success in business to her razor sharp, handsome, and endlessly supportive husband, Bart, to her fabulous and fanciful sister, Trish, who inspired the brand, and to her impressive staff, who gets up every day and works hard to bring Cream & Flutter to life.

She tributes her ever-growing love for the pastry to her kind and patient husband, Kyle, who always encourages her to pursue her passions. When she is not baking for humans, Whitney loves baking treats for her dogs Cheyenne and Mia, collecting vintage Pyrex, crafting, and making obscure Harry Potter references.
Nathan Bouton, Champaign Kitchen Manager
Nathan's passion for food started at a young age, watching his Grandma make breakfast from a step-stool every Saturday morning. His passion for pastry came from watching his mom make cakes, who has been a cake decorator for as long as he can remember. He loves to make food and pastry that is good enough to make people stop eating, take a moment, and just smile. That reaction of simply improving someone's day through the love of food, is what drives him to be better. Nathan studied Psychology for many years before his passion for food was reignited and he started cooking again. From there, he has never looked back. He chose Cream & Flutter because he knew how much we care about quality and producing pastry the right way. He stated, "I wanted to work for the best, so that I could hopefully be the best, and I knew Cream & Flutter could help me reach my goal of becoming a Chef." Nathan recently married his beautiful wife Sarah, who shares his passion for food, and always encourages him to be better everyday. Nathan is the Kitchen Operations Manager for the Champaign, IL store. He helps to produce great quality pastries, along with custom and wedding orders, and over-sees the general day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
Angela Chesser, Champaign Kitchen Manager
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Angela graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2001 with a B.A. in Sociology. She spent 16 years as a Social Worker before making the decision to develop her passion for baking. Angela spent lots of time as a child in the kitchen with her grandmother learning how to cook. It was not until she had children that she realized that she had a passion for baking and creating desserts as well. Angela used her free time to begin learning about pastries and using family and friends parties as an opportunity to develop her skills. She is grateful for the opportunity that Cream & Flutter has provided her to enhance her skills at a professional level. Angela enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughter's Alexis & Alivia and her wonderful husband Albert.
